Default Need an affordable shop to do a road force balance

Anyone have any recommendations for a tire shop that does road force balancing? How much does it usually cost? My wheel vibrations are driving me crazy.

All Lexus dealerships in the United States are capable of doing Hunter Roadforce balancing.

They usually end up costing about $20-25 per corner. I think a tire guy once told me it depends on the wheels/tires size too. Something like that. There was no flat rate given to me.

Before shelling out some money, try switching wheel/tire setup with your brother to see if you have the same problem or not. Hopefully your wheels aren't bent in any way.

Thanks guys, I can't see any bends visually but there might be some very slight ones I don't know about. I need to check the tires for damage too. You guys know about my risky setup.

Thing is, I've had vibrations even on my stock wheels so I'm not sure if it's the wheels or not.

Keep in mind your old tires were pretty crappy from the start

Maybe your brakes are going bad?

That's true. My brakes are fine, new rotors and pads remember? I'm starting to think it's my bushings if they're not my wheel setup.

Brian, wheel balance group buy?

When I had my 18s, I had no vibrations at all.

After putting on these 19s, I got the damn 60mph vibrations, so for me, it was most likely the wheels/tires.
The hub rings helped big time.

Plus my control arm bushings aren't that great so we'll see this weekend when Tho is going to install them.
Plus the 19s are heavier than my 18s

How are your bushings???

Most America's Tire Co. shops have the Hunter Roadforce balancing machines as well. I know for sure the one in Pasadena has it as I used to be an assistant manager there.

Shoreline Motoring in HB does road force balancing. It's a great shop and they work on lots of high end cars. They don't mess stuff up. I'm not sure what the cost is, but I'm sure they'll tell you over the phone.
