Lexus Cruise
Hey guys, although meets are great ways to get together and have fun but wouldn't it be great to see 20, 30, 40 or even 50 Lexuses line up and cruise down the road? It'll be great to do that on some scenery roads like PCH, Malibu or many other places.
Is anyone interested?

Here's what I am proposing:
Where: TBD
When: March 29th (Saturday)
Time: 1 pm - meet and greet, 2 pm - cruise out
If the time is no good then please suggest a different one.

maybe even meet and drive on 1 to Hearst Castle
Another great place to meet would be at Hearst Castle right off of 1. We can meet in Socal and then drive together on 1 all the way to Hearst Castle and there is a huge parking lot to take pictures and parking.
From there you can go Hearst castle or we can just enjoy the scenary and take photos of all the cars, then go grab lunch maybe in Solvang.
What do you guys think?

Date and Time have yet to be decided, but we need to find a decent route that has 1) good scenic route, 2) least amount of stop lights, 3) good emergency lane access (to pull to the side and wait), 4) GOOD FOOD after the ride

This is sounding like an LA thing, but I'll nominate a road at least - Ortega Hwy 74, between Lake Elsinore and San Juan Capistrano. 20 miles of mildly twisty stuff, 55 mph limit, view of the lake and Saddleback mountains. One stoplight (where I work) Biggest negative would be that it is two lane for most of the highway.
San Juan has better food, but less parking. Lake Elsinore has a giant outlet mall, but kinda light on food options that aren't deep fried.
Hope this helps.

If you guys set this up, count me in!
FYI,
There's major construction (from a mudslide) on PCH in Malibu between Pepperdine and Decker so that stretch of road should be avoided at all cost. So with that in mind.....
What about going through Mulholland or Decker canyons, zipping up PCH to Ventura/Oxnard for lunch? There's lots of fun twisties, nice scenery, plenty of places to stop, etc etc. I know someone who lives up there and she's always talking about a sea side restaurant that has the best scallops...or something like that. I can ask her if you guys are interested.
I've driven through there lots of times and interestingly enough it seems to be less crowded on that path on Saturdays. On Sundays there's lots of cars, motorcycles, bicyclists, cops, etc.
