Its my first ticket for the intake, the first one was for my exhoust that was reffed and passed, i showed the cop the paper work for it so he got butt hurt and gave me this one. the cars had the intake for over 3 years w/o a issue.
BTW it was in arcadia.

Side note- after i handed him a outstanding ticket for a front plate violation that i have he gave me another one and when i asked y he said he didnt notice that it was for a front plate, how BS is that.

well i was at a red light waiting to make a right turn (car stoped) cop pull up behind me and turns his disco lights on i pull into the drive of the DMV as instructed by the cop, he aproches my window and askes me

" how are you doing today"

to witch i replay "good and ur self officer"

he comes up to my window and says "I pulled you over becouse u have aftermarket mufflers"

to with i replay "i already have a outstanding citation for them officer" and give him my previouse ticket.

he says "well this citation is for visualy modified muffler im going to cite you for the noise level"

i replay "but officer i went to Ref inspection and my car passed"

Officer replys "well you see its supoed to be below 96 db"

i pull out my paper work and hand it to him

Officer reads out loud "85.7 and 87.2 db" then goes "but i can still write u a ticket becouse the ticket u have is for visual violation"

then he askes me to pop my witch i do

he points out my cam covers that are cut, and states " thats elligale you cna have the cam gears exposed becouse u cna adjust them"

i reply "officer they are stock they cant be" (they are stock)

officer goes "dosnt matter you cna adjust them"

i reply "look at them officer there rusted and there is no adjust, there stock"

officer " well this intake looks illigal to"

so he walks back to his bike pulles out the booklet and startes doing his thing, at this point he has my old ticket with him aswell witch is for exhost and front plates.

he comes back and says "im citing you for altered emitions and front plate"

me "but officer i already have a out standing front plate ticket"

officer ''ohh, well i didnt see that its too late'

the end

And yes my intake is covered and the crank and the cam case vent into the intake like OEM, but it looks like im going to have to go back to stock and have it smoged AGAIN, Im sorry but this is jsut BS i lose respect for cop every day.

Non-correctable DOESN'T mean Non-Correctable. I got an exhaust and intake ticket awhile back and the cop marked down Non-Correctable, even though both ARE correctable violations. Because he marked non-correctable, ticket was $500. I had to pay up front, go to ref to test, changed NOTHING on my car and passed smog and db test. I went to court with papers, and when I got up, judge said, "I don't even know why you are here, these are correctable violations. Did you get it tested?" I said yes and showed him the papers. Bamn, case closed, they refunded me $490, charged me $10 fix it fee, even though I fixed NOTHING.

So go through with getting it tested or "fixed" and get your money back.

You cannot simply get your intake CARB-approve. It's up to the manufacturer of your intake to get it approved. They probably didn't do it because the process costs them and upwards of 5-digit figures.
