more info on sambo?
nice info guys, more search now. vineyard is a good idea, but if we have been to napa, is it going to be similar stuff? and we probably won't go wine tasting. i never drink and drive
any restaurants recommendation?
oh, of course this is for me and my wife

Sambos Restaurant - Best pancakes around!
It's making me hungry just thinking about it.
Maybe it's time for me to take a drive down to Santa Barbara / Ventura area.

The Cajun Kitchen in Goleta is always a good eat.... Hit up the mission while your there.
Anything going on at the SB Bowl? Drive up to the Cold Springs Tavern......It's more of a Harley hang out, but it's cool.... Take a drive up the 154 and then down East Camino Cielo. Nice little view of the city. On a good day, you can see Refugio to Ventura.
Or just be touristy and walk State Street for all the niche shops.

That's it, State Street.
I was trying to remember if it was State or College Street before I respond.
I think there's a small Thai restaurant there too
I believe the pier is nearby. The both of you can take a nice walk on the pier with the small novelty shops and have some ice cream
We stopped by Santa Barbara on the way home from Solvang and Hearst Castle
