In the Santa Anita Canyon just east of Pasadena. I was on the way home from Bert's Mega Mall and all of a sudden I see a huge plume of smoke. I stopped and took some pics:





















It seemed to be under control, but firefighters were still flying helicopters at a good clip when I left.

Yeah I got them to 5k OTD for the SV 650 but it still bothers me how shady they are. When I first said I wanted the SV they tried to steer me towards the GSX-R 1k

Back on topic: it's just the warm & dry air causing the problems. I was just hoping that the fire problems wouldn't start so early this year.

Heh, let's just say that I went there to meet the bike I've been drooling over - GSX-R 750, in the black color scheme that I want.



I haven't had any problems with them so far, but then again I knew what I wanted to see before I walked in the door.

I had a funny feeling this afternoon when I left my house that I should bring the camera along. It's funny how life works. Anyway, I went back out this evening (with the camera) and the fire is worse now than it was this afternoon. I snapped a few more pics and will be uploading soon.

Do u guys remember the Santa Barbara fire last year burnt for few months? I was about 200 yards away when it started from the beginning. When my server is up I will like u to some pictures. Spreaded very fast and now way to run too.
