springs/coilovers/lowering kit makers in socal?
hi, i've been searching high and low for something for my ES350, i was hoping someone works with a company that manufactures lowering kits... if so... can you throw some weight around and have something nice made for the ES350? theres a guy down in florida who done it already... but its too far, far too pricey for the amount of drop given... and if he ships over here... i dont get a good warranty...

camry and ES350 springs are different... im not too sure about the suspension system though... =/ a guy in florida has to make his own springs.. he tried the camry springs, but he had to shave a part down.

hm... a thought just crossed me... even though the springs for the camry and ES are different.. would it be possible that the suspension is same? or close enough to put in camry coilovers? given that there is coilovers for the camry...

you should check out the specs in both cars. Weight of car, front and rear, and based on that, even though the suspension fits, if both cars are pretty similar, then you will have no problem... good luck, if i find a company willing to make suspension for your car, will you be willing to be a test car for them?

Good thing is that you get free suspension proffesionally installed and guarateed workmanship. (And you get the joy of being the first one to have it)

Check with James at Tanabe in torrance. He heads the R&D for Tanabe USA and they are constantly developing new products for new rides. My friends Accord was used for prototype headers and my friends lancer was used last week to develop an exhaust system. Down time is usually 1 day 2 at max. info@tanabe-usa.com or call at (310) 783-0200 good luck

i e-mailed tanabe they replied saying there's nothing out for the ES.... e-mailed.. carson toyota (for L-tuned) no body kits for the ES... havent heard back from megan... Wald said the ES isnt in Japan before.. i emailed them again using another account.... *sigh*.... im just jumping hoops hoping theres a prize at the end.... i'll give james from tanabe torrance a call . thanks for the support
(few minutes later)
james was on the phone... so he was busy.. but another guy helped me... didnt give me attitude like the last time i decided to call companies asking about springs for my car... well according to him.. it all depends on what japan wants to do. they'll have to look at the number of people who own ES's... and the market for the the ES crowd. unless i can rally up about 100 people willing to buy something... theres not much i can do... -_- bummer... i've tried getting people on th eES350 forums to join me in my search for aftermarket products....most of them, middle aged people, are more worried about scratching the paint and lower the resale value than modifying their car.
I will not admit defeat... i will keep on bugging the crap out of companies.. until someone makes something for the ES or... sends over a secuirity guard to shut me up... =]
air suspension is always an option... an expensive option (out of my budget) but it's a possibility...
