Oil change
Tomorrow will be my first time doing a oil change I need some help on 95 Gs300. First question is which oil to use... 5w-30 or 10w30?
2nd question is which tools do i need and where is the oil screw located? I tried to find oil change procedure on the forum but couldn't find it. If there is a link, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

oil change is very simple... tools you'll need... a socket wrench.... with assorted sockets... erm.. some old rags.. new oil filter... gasket.... something to hold the old oil... jack stands... and a jack.....
jack up the car... put it on stands...
get underneath... find the oil pan... its should be right under the engine bay.... look for a big metal container looking thing with a bolt at the end of it.... the bolt should be facing towards the rear of the car...
position your bucket, or whatever you will be using to contain your old oil...
find the right sized socket...and unscrew the bolt.... (it helps if your engine is cold.... so you wont scald yourself with hot oil)
set aside the bolt and wait for the oil to fully drain.
replace the gasket on the bolt and rescrew it back in.
find your oilfilter.... it should be the size of a tin can soda...get a good grip and unscrew it out... get your new oil filter, prime it with some new oil.. meaning... get some new oil and lub up the inside of it (not really important.. but i heard it makes it better... so why not) hand tighten your new oil filter.. nto too tight.. cause remember you gotta unscrew it next time.... clean up your spills.. and mess... make sure you bolt is in securely... and your filter...
now.. fill her up!.... lub up your purty engine with your new oil.... oil cap should be on top of the engine... unscrew and pour it in.... if you old oil is super dirty... after the change you'll feel how the engine is freakishly smooth and fast...
take the car off the stand and you're good to go! enjoy! hope it helps...
a funnel will help pouring in your new lub....
most important of all! DO NOT FORGET!
Recycle your oil... bring it to your local auto zone .. kragens.. pepboys... auto shop even... and give them your oil...

Ohh, I more question. Can i do 10w 30 right now and later switch to 5w 30 cuz I might be moving to a colder place in a couple of months? Does it hurt the engine by changing grades?

I think its awesome that the CL community is extremely helpfull to each other, and does not pick and/or make fun of people regardless of how simple a task might be.
