Default Caliper Paint: Local Paint Shops?

Just ordered some black Lexus decal stickers on ebay and am ready to paint my stock calipers on my 2GS. I have a black GS and have silver wheels (sig below). I want to paint my calipers Brembo Gold with high temp spray paint, put on the decals, and clear it over. I called Tommy (Lexus GS3) he said Pepboys, Autozone, Kragen wouldnt have that specific type of high temp spray paint.

Anybody know of any local (Los Angeles city area) speciality paint shops that would carry specific Brembo gold high temp spray paint? Maybe an Infiniti dealer? Any help would be appreciated, I'm trying to get this ish painted before the Luau!!!!!

i got my black ones from pep boys. look for high temp engine enamel, those that can stand 500 degrees or something like that. that's good enough. paint was on my calipers for 6 yrs and didn't fade a bit. 4 layers of black, decal, and 4 layers of clear

now your question on gold, that one i am not sure, i would think they have gold but no idea how specific. if anything, try backyard creations i guess? if you can't find the spray paint at auto store, i doubt they are available as spray paint from body shops

G2 works fine. but it still chips, gets scratched. and doesnt come with a clear.
i would suggest using G2 AND a rattle can hi temp clear for best and long lasting results. good luck.

i used G2 on my OEMS and they look like shat. good think i painted them black. my UCF20 front came powder coated and they still chip get scratched. so its gonna happen.

Gold G2 painted Supra TT brakes. Couldn't be happier.

It dries pretty quick, so I would recommend doing light even coats and not try to do it all at once.

Truthfully, from my own personal aexperience, I don't think high temperature paint is even that necessary for calipers. My Supra calipers dont heat up and its always cool enough to touch. Atleast the exposed areas

Supra calipers are aluminum.
Stock GS calipers are cast iron iirc

I only used the G2 paint and no clear over it. It has a nice glossy finish after it dries already.

But if I were to apply decals, I would need a clear coat, correct?

I forgot about your decal. I'm not sure, I don't have a decal. But, yes, I think most people do clear if they put on a decal.
