Angry Just Got A Ticket

on my way this morning from my GF house... I had this feeling that there's going to be a speed trap in my neighborhood, but still decided to take the same route. Anyway, my gut feeling says slow down, and i let two vehicle passed me by. Next thing you know, motorcylce cop walked in the middle of the road and pulled one vehicle who passed and SHOULD'VE PULLED THE ONE BEHIND IT... BUT FOR SOME ODD MOMENT, HE STOPPED AND THOUGHT ABOUT PULLING THE OTHER NEXT TO ME FOR SPEEDING OR ME...hmmmm. AND yes he decided to pull me over... for what? he couldn't give me a ticket for speeding coz i was going 31 on a 35mph zone... SO YUP, he thought of something else...NO FRONT LICENSE PLATE... GREAT... THIS IS A MOTORCYLE COP...HE ASK FOR REGISTRATION AND LICENSE... NO NEED TO SEE THE INSURANCE CARD. JUST TELL ME WHO'S YOUR INSURANCE AND I'LL TAKE CARE OF THE REST... sux.... i don't like putting the license plate on the front. Now i guess after the inspection, i have to buy a bumper plug... crap.....

I wonder if Velcro will work to hold up the plates or something that wont make you have to drill in your bumper.

Dirty! Yea double sided tape should be good enough for inspection.

I just have given up and bolted down my front plate with a nice Lexus front plate kit.

+1 on double sided tape. Just take it to the CHP in Alhambra....they're usually pretty lazy and don't check it.

I saw a car once with a vinyl print sticker of their license plate in the front, I wonder if that is legit...

I got one of those a few weeks ago, its easy to take care of

Just put double sided tape onto the back of the plate and stick that sucker on, the law only states that he has to be attached to the front bumper it does not state with what or how.

The fine is like 20 bucks (10 for the sheriffs office, and 10 for the clerk)

I remember reading somewhere where you could use this excuse: "I already got a ticket for no license plate already and the mounting bracket is coming in the mail"
Anyway, thats the excuse I'll be using if I get pulled over.

better be careful....i got a ticket for not having a front plate. i used two thick black zip ties and zipped it to the front went to a CHP station. they came out looked at it pulled on it and said well its secure but zip ties dont count. had to screw it in. they said that it must be permamnet and secure.
