How much do I have to pay for not stopping at the stop sign. I have to go to court since I am 17 but im turning 18 in 5 more days. I got my ticket at orange county. I have to go to court there when i live in los angeles.

Depends, I got a ticket for speeding and not stopping at the stop sign but WON "yay" through written declaration, it was about $520.00 to pay the bail but I got it back.

So for you 100.00-300.00 not sure maybe less!!!

ehh, good luck, its given the same point issue as running a red light....

normally they would consider suspending your license for a period of time since u are 17 but it might vary since you are close to your birthday but it really depends on the judge.

i believe stop sign violations costs anywhere about $180~$220 for first time violation.
Second violations doubles.

stop sign violations in the OC are actually only $35 for the fine....

but as the judge called them.."taxes" apply and that's where it becomes about $150 ish...

if its a violation that can be wiped out by going to traffic school, goodluck. getting a ticket in OC means you have to go to an actual class, they dont accept internet or video courses.

Just got a ticket running a stop sign. It was 168.00 for the violation and another 29.00 just for info on traffic school, and to pay for traffic school on top of that! Don't know how much thats gonna cost me. It could be a little more for you since you're younger than me.

No, OC judges are the worst, as are the cops. They issue like twice as many tickets as any other county. I wouldn't even bother writing the declaration. Take the traffic school if you can. I've shelled out big bux for a lawyer who really dragged out my case. Cop didn't comply with a single of the 6 subpoeanas that were issued. Case was moved from traffic court to civil court. Probably was friends with the judge there. They were *******s of equal magnitute(major). After being found guilty, I was forced to come in for sentencing. Got reamed by the judge pretty badly. Still hurts to this day.

my first stop sign ticket was 90, second one was 150, third one was 300. Finally learned my lesson after the third one.

First was in LA and the last two were in SD.
