Have you ever seen this late at night? It usually happens around 11pm.
They cruise down with a huge truck with something in the trailer followed by a bunch of CHP trucks or police cars.
Anybody know whats up?

one of below, would be my guess...

1. they are transporting equipment (valley is a long street. closest chp on valley i believe is in baldwin park, then you have sheriff's station in walnut and industry, EMPD, etc)
2. could be a DUI checkpoint trailer
3. could be one of those emissions check systems trailer

I guess maybe it's their protocol to escort moving large items? Doesn't seem like something that is of value to be stolen.... I drove by one time while they were moving it, and another them I was parked in a area where I saw them doing it (old shop use to be located near there)

I saw like 20-30 Motorcycle cops rollin up the I-5 north between San Clemente and Santa ana. i thought it was like a funeral thing but it was all bikes

Anytime you see that many police escorts, the cargo has some value to it. Enough for the transporters to ask for assitance (or required)

I was one in one of the car who got to the check point. It was a pretty big event, but nothing too serious, no weapons no nuke involve. They were looking for Pocky. Since he hasnt been spotted lately. It's very abnormal. thats all

Nukes wouldn't be out that way. I am almost positive they transport nuclear weapons via rail.
