Taking a trip to LA for 2weeks.
Well im taking a 2 week trip to the LA area (anaheim/garden grove) from aug17-31st and i was wondering if there are going to be any local 2is meets or things of that nature. I'd like to check out some of the cars and meet some ppl out there. Ill be out there on family stuff, but would like to meet up with some ppl. Since ill pretty much be bored out of my mind. haha

i actually didnt think to ask until you posted this question, lol... but ill be in the Anaheim, Garden Grove area. I am to assume the Garden Grove area is comprised of a large number of viets. since thats where my grandfather lives. But itll definately be a culture shock to me. Although im 100% viet, ive never been around many asian ppl, aside from my immediate family. Im pretty much the whitest asian kid ever. lol

Anaheim and Garden Grove -- that's Disneyland country.
That's about an hour away from Downtown L.A. with traffic.
Anyways, if you want to have a meet there, we have a bunch of members in Orange County. It will be difficult to get a whole lot of L.A. CL members to come down on a weekday; weekends are much better.
Any requests? I'll set up a meet if you tell me what you want to see...

haha i do enjoy a good bowl of pho.
a meet on the weekends of the 23rd or the 30th weekend sound great. any day is good for me except the 31st which is when i head back to FL. i dont really have much else to do, for the most part. i think ill spend most of my time surfing, i havent done that in along time, just kinda afraid of getting eaten by a shark, lol.

Most Pho places are very small with limited parking. Let me get back with a place that has plenty of space for our cars...

79 has plenty of parking if we go on non busy days like Saturday and Sunday mornings.
