There have been car meets in Burbank before, CrazyMPG had some threads going about them?
The Bob's Big Boy is a popular spot for the classic car meets, no problems there either?
As long as we stay low key and don't do anything to attract attention we should be okay? Plus this will be Lexus only mini meet so no ricers, right?


I'm open to meeting up a bit further west into the valley if it works out better for the majority and if someone knows of a "safe" spot.

 

well, theres the ol kmart/flames meet over on corbin and nordhoff on fridays. but it seems the valley meets usually get shut down by over active cops. and theres the big CSUN parking lot over on lassen and zelzah. i usually use that parking lot to screw around on my 50.

 

Stay away from Glendale and Parts of the SFV on Thursdays. I got pulled over like 5+ miles away from the Porter Ranch meet and still got pulled over.

Aren't their any shops that are close buy. Maybe someone could get a bbq going , maybe a dyno day perhaps. I went to one at percision z w/ my brother a few months ago. A bunch of g35's and 350z's. He dynoed his SC G and I dynoed my car on a dynopak that was reading 30hp less than the one to the right of it... haha

Flames- Sucks! haha a few years back in my brothers IS300.net days him and a few buds like edgy and others went to the meet and the second they drove up the cops gave them all tickets..

I'll tell you guys where a good place is though. It's next to flames. By Gelsons on Plummer and in between Corbin and Winnetka there is a Cold Stones, Starbucks and a few other shops. Right next to them there is a parking structure that is fairly small and you could drive up there and it's always empty. That would be a good meeting spot and we could all have some ice cream, cold stones, sushi all in one parking plaza. And if it's clublexus people only they don't really tend to mess w/ people. Cops usually get pissed off that these dumb young fu.cks w/ rice rockets that revv up their engines and drive like morons in parking centers. That's why porter ranch is a bust now... And on top of that cops got nothing better to do in the SFV. As much as I'd like to defend them i really can't. I've never had a good experience w/ cops in my life.

 

So where and when are we deciding this meet...we need a good safe spot here in the 818...NOcops and ricers will be nice!

 

i think we should have a meeting at big boys and discuss about the future meetings. We should met next week

lets have a meet at the el camino shopping center or the calabasas area. clean, quiet, no hooligans bunch of places to eat... btw flip i saw your car at kaiser the other day.

 

FYI, Friday nights at Big Boy is already taken by the classic car meet.
