Highly recommend Tommy. Installed my KW V3s for my isF. Did a good job and was relatively quick. Nice guy as well!

tommy can shave fenders for all four corners, actually.

for the fronts, he can also shave down the fender/bumper tab or delete it altogether.

^ thanks for the info

i've read about relocating the tab, but any potential down side of having the bumper tab deleted? and any real advantage for rolling vs shaving?

not to derail this thread too much, but to answer your questions:

deleting the bumper/fender tab reduces metal-on-tire contact (that usually results in shredding/scalloping the tires). in place of the tab, it's a self-tapping sheet metal screw that is drilled upwards to attach the bumper to the fender.

fender rolling allows you to retain the fender lip and possibly shave it down if you really need that extra clearance. it also preserves the structural rigidity of the fender along the wheel well. shaving removes that fender lip. it comes down to what you're comfortable with.

^ thanks! always super helpful.

another quick review about tommy's work! got my calipers painted by him, turned out great! he's also been doing my suspension work , exhaust installs, etc. the drop he did for me was perfect, clears my tires with just enough clearance without rubbing. highly recommended flexible hours, great to deal with!

Tommy does great work. He did my pads and rotors, both front and back for a really good price. He also noticed my suspension was uneven so he redid the height on all 4 for free. He is a perfectionist, he doesn't cut any corners. He is also very very flexible with his hours.

We San Diego folk are SOL. I wish someone knew a Tommy's Music Box alternative nearby so I don't have to drive 2+ hours.

Just got my Tanabe Springs installed by Tommy. Took him about an hour, even took a 10 minute break to look at another persons car who pulled up.

This guy is the king. Will no doubt go here for all car needs in the future. He didn't even have to go through the trunk to do the rears. He said something about my generation GS is built different.

A++++++++++++ highly recommended!!!

Some ppl have mentioned that Tommy does brakes. Do he have a machine to turn rotors?
