There used to be a good pork chop rice place on san gabriel, but it is now called indian restaurant (taiwanese food, alcoholic drinks place, girl servers dressed as pocahontas lol, not bad). Kang kang food court on valley/garfield in alhambra has pretty decent pork chop rice.
I like saigon eden on las tunas for pho.

I think this thread needs to be organized better. Places such as Golden Deli and Oak Tree should be like, highlighted since they're recommended more than once. Also would be nice if we can organized it by type of food lolz.

can anyone recommend a good porkchop rice place? i've tried most but none really stands out. the only place that i liked so far is at HKS plaza in rowland but thats a lil far.

try old country cafe in alhambra off valley and garfield or hit up the one in temple city, in the same plaza as the ONO hawaiian bbq on rosemead and las tunas

ive been to pearls, i only like their milk tea though. the girl who works the counter is pretty cute. i dont know if she speaks english though. anyways, my teammates mom is great friends with the owner...you know a Judy or Mike Chen?

Haha I know because I have been there several times. Decent place to get pitchers of beer and appetizers. There is only one pocahontas that stands out there. You'll know what I mean if you ever go.

All it would take is a small meet to fill up the parking since the lot is so small. There is more parking in the back though that fills up as well. You can have uncle joe's donuts after a night of drinking haha...
