Local shop to perform maintence - other then dealer...
I wanted to find out where others take their IS300's for engine work? I would like to get the 95K maintenance on my IS that I just bought. Went to the Lexus dealer to inquire about it and was told $1599 for the Timing belt, all fluids, etc. This didn't include the Water pump - if it needed that was another $299. WOW!
So I'm looking for somewhere local that would be cheaper. I'm in the Inland Empire and wouldn't mind driving if need be.
Thanks!

There are tons tons information about this, please do some search. One of them :
Dynamic Auto : https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hlight=dynamic
I did my 90K service on Toyota/Lexus tech in Fullerton--->timing belt + water pump is about $750~. I think 90K service usually cost about $1100~$1300 in dealer.....
