Hearst Castle would be kool. The trip down Hwy 1 is great, but it takes A LOT longer to travel south. You'd wanna cut back over to 5 or 101 eventually.

You could also do Monterey, Carmel area. Beautiful upscale areas, the wharf, Aquarium, 17 mile drive, etc.

If I take Monday off I'd go down with you guys !

Going to Napa is another 2 hours north of San Jose. Long ride home.

Just ideas.

If I do Napa, we would get a hotel for Sunday night over there. Spend near all day Monday picking up cases of wine. And yeah, the ride home will be longer, but I'll have tons of wine to enjoy at home.

If I do the coast, I would get a hotel somewhere in the middle -- Paso Robles or Pismo Beach perhaps? We can do central coast wine tasting on Monday instead of Napa. We'd also have to reserve times for tours at Hearst Castle.

I'll have to check what my passengers/parasites want to do that weekend...
