CHP doesnt get paid from fix it tickets dude..the county they write the ticket does...before you point fingers and pout cause you were the sacraficial lamb, do your homework

Right no arguement here...

..just your CA Tax dollars working against you for smoked tail lights..

that's all... no biggie..

Reminds of last year, driving my month old car and getting pulled over for "no plates".. while sitting at a red light.
After formalities, I told the CHP officer the car is new and pointed to the reg sticker on the windshield... He had me peel it off so he could take it back to his squad car and waste more time...

I am not saying ALL CHP officers due this, but some feel they need to extend their "night stick powers" from time to time... just for fun.
(I also have family on the force, so no one should take this comment offensive)
