My two "white" friends wanted to stay after EOS 7, so this is what we did..

Good to see you guys had a great road trip home from EOS7.
I agree the road past Santa Barbara is nice.
Next time you gotta take the 17 mile drive through Monterey.
I strongly recommend taking the 101 scenic route between SoCal and NorCal.
It adds about an hour to the trip, but it actually goes by quickly with all the scenic views to keep you entertained.
Maybe you should organize a caravan up or down the 101 for EOS next year?

k so while the Socal pimps were having lunch after the convoy, Chris wouldn't shut up about floss. Apparently he had been nom noming beef jerky while driving. After lunch these two fools went back to their cars and...
Throughout the weekend they wouldn't stop talking about toothbrushes and mouth wash and crap.
After lunch they were running low on gas so we headed to the nearest gas station.
$4.40 for gas FTUL. I filled up in San Diego for $3.81. I filled up yesterday for $3.69 bow down lawl.
We pass out for a few hours in our hotel and we go out and meet the Socal sexy guys for dinner. We get back and park our cars right under our balcony.
Our personal effects for the day. All that cash was from paying for lunch and dinner because I never carry cash with me.

So the next day was EOS and we got up pretty early.
I gave Chris a quick photography lesson and told him to just keep the metering bar in the middle.
So for the raffle we put our tickets in at the last minute for the HID kits. I put mine in first and Kenny and Chris followed after. Kenny gets called first for kit #1 and Chris gets called for kit #2. PWN
After EOS we go back to our hotel and decide to drive up to Berkeley. We visit some old friends of mine and eat at Angeline's Louisiana Kitchen or something.
So Monday rolls around and we leave pretty early. We drive for about an hour on 101 before we get to..
ZOMG it's a dragonfly out of nowhere!
Intense marine layer. I thought it was bad in La Jolla but this takes it to another level.

We pull over for a quick break and Kenny gets a picture of me doing the tinkle dance.
So we're driving along and the weather is nice and the scenery is beautiful so I crack my window a bit and put my hand outside. I feel something hit my hand and then my chest but I thought it was a berry or something lol.. 30 minutes later I look down and I see this guy looking back at me and he's not very happy..
Ow.
We stop by Hearst Castle for a bit to rest and to get an ice pack that didn't work.
We switched spots so I was in the middle...
Chris got lonely in the back..

It's always with you whenever there's a CL group activity; that might be enough to make us relatives
I saw you too! clean ride as always. See you at the next meet.
btw did you get my PM? don't be too sad about "it".
Thanks Glen I'll keep that in mind. We just kinda passed by Monterey on the PCH and saw a few things only. We went from the 101 to the 156, and then PCH all the way down to SLO. Had lunch there, and then got back onto the 101 and took it all the way back to downtown LA.
Organizing a caravan up the 101/1 sounds like a great idea. I'll keep that in mind.
Milky you should totally come next year. The next EOS would not be the same as the previous years..in a very good way.

So we get to the part of PCH where it's nice and straight and I look out the window and these cows were following each other in a straight line. I thought it was pretty cute and got a little hungry
We were drafting pretty close and I saw these trees and thought to myself zomg summer is over
You can barely see Kenny's car in front of Chris'. We were going about 75 the whole way drafting each other.
Passing through Santa Barbara..
Back in LA! A fixed up Prius bowdown we're not worthy.

Haha great story. Looks like you guys had a great time. I was in the Bay the weekend before EOS and i went over the Carquinez many times that weekend. Too bad everyone couldn't convoy all together up and down at one time but there is always next year.
