Yeah, I doubt he'd have a problem with that because he doesn't stock synthetic oils, and he knows people have their preference when it comes to their cars. Just remember to bring enough oil and a filter of your choice or I'm sure he'd have an oem filter in stock since I always see toyota boxes everywhere.

Yes, I buy my Wick filters in bulk online and get my 5qt Mobile 1 jugs from Walmart at 22 bucks now I believe. To the best of my knowledge, its the best price in town. 6-7 dollars per individual quart x 5 is a joke.

Your SC only takes 5 quarts? I just did my oil change and it was like 6 quarts.

^^^ now i've never been to super autobacs, and i'm not talking them down or anything...

but would you rather trust a former lexus master tech that comes highly recommended, or an untrained grease monkey w/ a garage shirt? even if it is for "just an oil change"?

imo, i'd rather drive a little farther to son @ dynamic auto.

autobacs FTL. never trust them with your car. I got my alignment there and they didn't bother to tighten one of my tie rod nut. Result? almost new tires gone within 6 months. It doesn't help that the guy thought he was slick. Drove behind the building and floored my car. b@stards!!!
