they have cameras that get both front and back. since you didnt run the light you should be ok. but they can still give you a ticket for going past the line which would be a gridlock ticket i think it is.

Those red light cams are for running the light and nothing else. If they could hit us up for not stopping behind the line that would open up a world of hurt for all of us. Imagine that you set it off but didn't run the light ; they would see front windows tinted, not front plates, too many passengers, no seatbelts, etc.
i think you should be ok. dont worry about it.
from what i remember, a friend of mine that got a ticket from a red light, the rear plate shows but he was in the middle of the intersection. If you dont have front plates, i doubt they got the rears.
prolly didn't get you as well, but it'll be itching in the back of my mind for 2 weeks until i forget about it. you must have been going fast enough for the sensors to think you were going to run the red.
