i dont know how much it will cost you if you don't fix your ticket...but couple of months ago i got pulled over for No front license plate and i asked the clerk at the court how much is my ticket if i dont fix it...she said $125.. i was like...I'll just go and put my front license on...i think yours might be higher than that, but like is said i dont know...it could be less too (well i hope) but if you decided to take it off, when you sign off the ticket GO TO CHP dont got to any sheriff station they'll charge you $15 plus $10 for the court...on top of how much you put your tint on your car...GOOD LUCK keep us updated...

take it off. if you pay the increased fine and leave it on, it stays on your record. its around $130 to keep it on but if you get another one its considered a 2nd offense and they fine you double.

Haha Finally the ticket is here and the amount is $421(included speeding, passing on the right and tint) LOL for the information i was doing 43 in a 35 Zone and i did not pass on the right, but the lane is merging ... Haha it says that "if you are unable to provide proof of correction, send the total bail amount above." So probably pay them lol... it is gonna be cheaper than to redo the Huper Optik anyway

the key is to avoid PVE specifically, the sheriffs patrol every other city on the hill and could care less about car violations. hey benls460 where'd you get your tint done at? i need to get my car tinted and need somewhere local to 310 or 562. thanks.

Ben, just pay the fine along with the traffic school fee. When you appear at the window, you can ask to go to traffic school to remove both points on your record. Most of the time, it will cover two points. I surprised he tagged you for your windows, and not your tails.

You can get the fake "passing on the right" dropped by taking pictures of the signs, and the area in which you were driving. The judge will drop it, and the fines will be reduced. Always refer to him as "Your Honor"

Make sure you plead no contest, as not to admit nor deny guilt in front of the judge.

Your explanation might go something like this.

"Your Honor, if it may please the court, I have taken photographs of the surrounding areas in which I was cited for "passing on the right", and the signs clearly state merging. I would ask that this charge be dropped on account of the officer's perspective in relation to my vehicle, as I was only following the signs."

Go to California Tint In Rosemead..Peter's price and service cannot be beat...
Say you were either referred by Curtis with the WRX

or Jay(me) and his cousin with the 545i that he did all ceramic on..PM me for his referral price as he doesn't like it floating around(I get nothing out of it) but you get a nice price break.....

man sorry to hear that, sounds like an *** cop for giving you a ticket on the tint as well (and it's such a light tint)

from the price seems like better off pay it off, but just be careful, i also believe it stays on record and next time fines go up, etc...

i told you ben, you do need to take it off unless you have a friend cop to sign off your ticket.
the only way to keep the ticket is to have a non-correctable ticket. You pay the fine and that's it, the only problem is that you get 1 point in your record.
