2 Cars Wanted - SoCal Area - Extreme Makeover Candidates


We're looking for 2 cars for 2 Extreme Makeover Classes.

1) Classic Pre-1975 Car with the Original Single Stage Paint
We would like to find a classic car in original condition with the original single stage paint still intact but extremely oxidized but restartable.


2) Classic Modern Car with the Original Basecoat/Clearcoat Paint
We would like to find a modern classic car in original condition with the original basecoat/clearcoat finish with extreme swirls throughout the finish.


A few more details.

Candidate cars cannot be dented as the dents distract from the big picture of how to professionally restore paint.

Hoods and trunk lids must not have been worked on before the class. For example, we can't use a car with an oxidized single stage paint where someone has already rubbed on a section of the hood and changed the appearance.

Cars must be running, driving cars.
