CL meet in Compton...

Here are a few reasons why we don't have Compton meets:
(1) Lack of open available parking.
(2) Most CL members live far away from Compton.
(3) Increased police presence.
(4) Percieved and actual criminal activity.
(5) Lack of interest for anything that has to do with Compton.
(6) Lack of any interesting spots to go to in Compton.
--Personally, I actually want to set up a B&R Burger Meet in Compton. Nothing brings our CL Community together like a 2-pound burger. Mmmmm...
However, that facility lacks open parking. And it's also available only during the day. Oh well...

Athough the meet would be a postive thing it would be seen and a bunch of guys wanting to race and that by it's self would attract an increase in police presence. The feedback from this thread only shows the postive and negative aspects of this idea. I don't think anyone is less chicken than others just shows the willingness of the members., oh well.....plus i don't want to get shot too
