Other than for obvious reasons, Why would you not ever attend a CL meet out in Compton? What would convince you guys to actually attend a CL meet out in Compton?

i think when Compton is mentioned .......shootings come to mind, but where i work it's industrial and it's not like that, alot of street races but no drama, oh well

I dont mind going to compton..but its just that when you have a group of Lexus rolling down the street, you're going to get noticed.

yeah thats true....... i wouldn't roll through Compton at all......far as i go is quickly off the 91hwy and the same way out

Not all of Compton is bad...some really nice parts of Compton are near the Gardena border...But still though, A CL meet out in the city of Compton would definitely be a welcomed change of pace.

I agree that some parts in compton aren't all that bad (I used to live there back when it was worse), but no matter what if you get a whole bunch of lexus' together there it would not be a welcomed change of pace. You said it better yourself, why not just go down a city like gardena close to the 91 for accessibility.

And to be calling people chicken "you know what" will not help your cause.

Here are a few reasons why we don't have Compton meets:

(1) Lack of open available parking.

(2) Most CL members live far away from Compton.

(3) Increased police presence.

(4) Percieved and actual criminal activity.

(5) Lack of interest for anything that has to do with Compton.

(6) Lack of any interesting spots to go to in Compton.



--Personally, I actually want to set up a B&R Burger Meet in Compton. Nothing brings our CL Community together like a 2-pound burger. Mmmmm...

However, that facility lacks open parking. And it's also available only during the day. Oh well...
