So haha tonight me and valli decided to take a nice "leisure" cruise in Azusa.

on the way down the mountain a cop blocked the road and pulled us over.

He got a tint ticket, and a no front license plate ticket. both easy fix its.

I got no front plate, tint, and mutilated license. lol my dogs chewed it up.

it couldve been alot worse.

But ok on the ticket where it says when we have to appear in court, he put the wrong date. it says.

"On or before this date" and he put 01/13/08 so basically it says we have to be at court before Jan. first of 2008...but thats impossible.

now i know he meant to put 09, but since he messed up is there a chance we can get out of this? its not a hard ticket to fix, but i want to get out of it if i can.

and huh?? its irrelevant? but its impossible to show up to get it fixed if the date already passed. once again its not a hard fix, im just tryin to see if he messed up in some way that would make this ticket useless.

Sorry to hear that man..... A few weeks ago i also had a ticket and the cop gave me everything he could, haha speeding, passing on the right and the tint...

lol wow that sucks! we were lucky and couldve got alot more. but his partner was chill and cool about it. but if he wasnt there, that other cop wouldve probably towed the cars.



and i dont think we should fight a ticket this small, its just a fix it one. but im just wondering on that whole wrong court date thing.

ok maybe i used the incorrect term.
but since its simple to track when the citation was issued, etc, this little error will get overlooked and you'll need to continue with the process.

I'm so happy I didn't get a speeding ticket though but yeah the tint ticket kinda sucks now but nothing big!

I was scared for Yusef cause the officer saw his intercooler and said "pop the hood."

In my mind I was like "uh oh 2JZ-GTE." but luckily no ticket.

The one cop was really chill and kinda wanted to let me go with a warning but his partner kept scaring me about how he could and would tow both our cars cause we were street racing, which we were not maybe speeding but not racing and he was super hype/excited like he caught a big fish or something, he was being a little douche bag about it!

LOL yea me too! when he said pop the hood i was like...omg my cars getting towed. but they dont know its a gte...haha it says toyota..lexus/toyota eh they cant tell the difference.

haha i was like its stock..and he was like THAT IS NOT STOCK! hahaha

LOL Actually i wasnt really passing on the right, but the lane is merging and the guy drove really slow so i did 45 in a 35 zone just to pass him and then he pulled me over

You might be able to get it thrown out by then, but I'd be more worried about idiot bureaucrats sending you failure to comply notices, since the date for correction is almost a year ago.

As for the 2JZ-GTE, I am told it is not a valid swap in CA, but I wonder about that since it was imported in the Supra. Anyone have any insight on this?
