Thanks guys I'm glad that I didn't have to be evacuated. I have a lot of respect for the firefighters and individuals that were able to act quickly to keep the fire from spreading. They are the true heroes in my book.

My family got the mandatory evacuation order and my mom and sister evacuated. My dad refused to go. 
My mom was kind of angry at him but I kind of understand. I called him and the first thing he said was "we've got a small problem over here 
" which was kind of funny because he was so relaxed given the situation. He said he had loaded up the important family documents and what he couldn't take he put in the cannons. My mom and sister stayed at our other house last night and I guess my dad stayed at our house in DB and held down the fort. I'm so glad the winds died down and the back fires worked. I was talking to ElitistK and we seriously thought we would never see our homes again.

Didn't leave my house under the mandatory evacuation. Ended up being ok but the park right outside my neighborhood went up in flames and close to 20 homes at the top of my hill were destroyed. Very sad.

Well they caught one of the punks that started the fires. I knew that it was too suspicious for all those fires to randomly happen all at once. They should let some of the property owners who lost their homes have a whack at him.

OMG... those pictures are amazing.. -_-;; i hope everyone who was affected by the fires in yorba linda, sylmar, chino hills, and stevenson ranch are all okay. =/ hopefully we wont have anymore of these massive fires....
