Im most likely going to be moving to socal next year and was worried about emissions? I have a 92 w a 1jz catback exhaust. I heard that your not even alowed to have a turbo car unless it comes stock. Is all of this true? If so how am i going to pass emissions?

Yes, california emissions such donkey *****. But there are still tons of boosted SC's, 240's, singled supra's, and honda's driving on our streets. How you may ask?????? people who know people who know people.

you'd have to go get a bar label and have all your emission components otherwise just keep the car registered in fl thats the easiest way for you ..other than that you'd have to have to do an illegal smog which is risky and illegal and even then if you get pulled over by the cops for mods you'd end up having to go to the bar ref and getting screwed anyways

passing smog is no biggie if you know the right place. All my previous cars have been passed with no problem.
The only thing im worried about is that i believe once you move to a different state, i think the dmv checks out your car and they might even referee it. Im not sure, someone correct me here.
I bought a out of state car and had to get it refereed for some odd reason.
