Hi So-Cal'ers, I'm lookin' to get a tattoo and need some good recommendations. I prefer a place in the OC but am willing to drive if the work is good.

I need someone who can help me design and not just trace a stencil.

I know this place in Alhambra area that does a good work. I had a couple of friends done their tattoo jobs there. it's called the MyTattoo.

I know two spots in the OC:

1. OC tattoo on goldenwest and garden grove.
2. Bad Influence tattoo on bushard and heil.

I know a bunch of people who has done work with both of the shops and they had no complaints.

i agree. both OC Tattoo and Bad Influence are great shops. the owner of Bad Influence is friends with the owner of OC and have been for years.

i personally get my work done at Bad Influence and have been doing so for about 4 years. highly recommended!!

Sexi_Lexi....what you first need to decide is what style your tattoo work is going to be, THEN decide on who is going to do it!! almost every artist out there can try to tattoo you but most are specialized or enjoy tattooing different styles. and some will only tattoo what style they are good at. whether it be traditional, japanese, black and gray, color....etc. depending on what you want will tell me where i would recommend you taking your business.

i will post pics later tonight of my tattoos done at Bad Influence and show you what a good artist is capable of..........

if one of the guys drive a black benz...then yep its the place...heard he learned all his stuff when he was locked up. smart guy from what i hear...if i get a tat i'm going to him.
