Body Repair
Anyone know who I can talk to for body repair at Longo Lexus? I need to get some body damage done on my front bumper, more likely it is going to be replaced.... Thanks....

longo has their own bodyshop on site. i just got my car back from longo a month ago and i'm pretty happy with the work that was done. several members have taken their car to longo... ask for brandon rios. it'll be expensive tho if you're paying out of pocket...

ya longo is a rip, you'll pay too much just so long0 and the outsourced shop can make money.
I just refinished my rear bumper at Platinum VIP in el monte - irwindale. Very good work and very good price.

bumper job shouldn't even take more then 3 days and 2 days will be pretty fast. just find out what is around your area and what qulity work they do and what paint they use. water bourne based paints are kinda expensive but well worth it. our shop uses grasurit and it ain't cheap but i like it (personally) but it's not cheap.
also if they're painter is good enough and you need to replace the bumper cover then you don't even have to drop the bumper cover off. just tell'em to order bumper and paint it so when you get there only thing you need is just R/I the bumper and it will be done quick. we do that all the time. so that you dont' have to be parted from your nice car ^^.

Actually Longo has their own collision repair facility on site. They do not outsource it. Longo Collision is a Toyota and Lexus certified collision repair facility, not many body shops can claim that. They are also an AAA direct repair shop which should mean alot since AAA doesn't just select any body shop on their program. They actually do great work. Sadly, people who bad mouth Longo are those who have had bad experiences or never set foot on their property at all.
