My car failed the smog test last November. We found moisture/coolant in the oil, so we figured a blown head gasket dude. We took it all apart and found nothing really wrong. It was in the beginning stages of a blown head gasket I guess. Anyways, my buddy Eddie(TLDriver) gave me a used motor for me to use. I removed the head and sent it out be re-worked along with new valve seals. Then we slapped it onto my block with a new head gasket. It's almost done. In fact, it should be done tomorrow after we get the new cap and rotor in. Since owning this car, I've done almost everything except replacing the block and transmission. Almost everything else has been addressed. I should be good for awhile. I hope that all goes well with the smog, I have an appointment next Wednesday. If so, I'll be ready to hit the streets again...LoL

yo, there's huge car meet every wednesday on tampa and nordhoff in the in n out parking lot, the only lexus's there are my is350 2 others and a turbo charged is300...if you go look for an sgm is350 with dark tints and matte blk grill and emblems, lets take over the meet and dominate this **** mannn

 

every wednesday TAMPA AND NORDHOFF in Northridge (the valley) in the In N Out parking lot...its huge TRUST ME WE JUST NEED MORE LEXUS'S..there is at least 200 cars that come throughout the whole night.

that spot is hot for COPS...i've heard that place so many times and even if your just passing by, the cops will pull you over and ticket you for something...its sad but its true....

 

Trust me from experience.. IN N OUT meets in the san fernando valley are a NO NO. cops just wait for everyone to leave and pull u over for no reason. if your car looks modded your going to get pulled over.

sounds about right. id offer up my shop as a meeting place but the parking is horrible and well, its a mess. haha.

well, we could all meet up at the movie theater on winnetka. theres usually a pissload of parking and we can all eat at stonefire grill. you order your own grub and there wouldnt be an issue of payment since you pay for yourself up front and they bring it to you.

 

that sounds like a good idea, however i used to work right behind that movie complex and there are always cops eating in that plaza either at pacquito mas or stone fire. lol However, there probably aren't many there on the weekend. I used to always see them there on weekdays. Like about 4-10 bikes 3-5 cars.. no joke.
