Default snow chains/cables

Hey all,

I posted this in the IS 2nd Generation forum but wanted to check with the local community as well.
Hey all,

I live in southern California and occasionally (perhaps 2 to 4 times during the winter season) drive up my local mountains to do some snowboarding. Although I've seen several threads here that recommend picking up a dedicated set of snow tires for winter duty or renting a car, I'd prefer to drive the IS.

With this in mind, I'm interested in picking some snow cables. Specifically, I'm looking into the SCC Super Z6 snow cables which are supposedly designed for vehicles with limited operating clearance. I'm considering this set since I have the X-Package on my IS (running 255/40/18 in the rear). Does anyone have any experience with these set? If so, please share. Thanks!
If anyone knows alternative snow chains/cables, please suggest away. Thanks!
