Presidents' Day Meet '09, Afterthoughts and Pics...
#17
There was still a decent amount of cars that went to Super Autobacs. Though we did see a couple cops and I believe some of us were revving our engines lol
Nice seeing old faces and meeting new friends

Meet was very cool while it lasted. I got there at around 1:40 and drove around the parking lot looking for parking because i thought parking was arranged by type of vehicle but upon further diagnosis, i came to the conclusion to just park anywhere.
There were definitely a lot of cool cars with friendly people. The turn out was great and i think that is a beautiful location for meets except for the fact that the heffer decided to go ape ****z and call the cops. I really wish the cops hadn't been circling us because i really wanted to check out some of the car's engine bays. Despite everything i really enjoyed it and thanks to those who put it together.
ps: where were all the SC's at?!?? i feel like we were vastly under represented in the land of 2nd gen is's and gs's

My review of Po Folks:
- 45 minute wait for food
- $20 parking ticket
Food wasn't even that good
Thanks for organizing an unathorized meet Philip (jp I am busting your ***** plus I didn't get to give you the box of mags). When we pulled in at 12:40ish we saw a cop car and they seemed fine. It was private parking for mideval times but I wished they posted bigger signs .

I went to pofolks yesterday night and indeed the wait time was long. I waited 40 minutes at the table while I beat the IQ games countless times. Food was good though.
I didn't go to the meet today. Hope you guys had fun.

Thanks again for those that met up @ Spectrum around 12, nice little spot to start the caravan!

The SCs are taking a little break. I think if we host a big meet like this next time, it's better to have the permission from the parking lot owner so you won't have to worry about the police. And make sure it's a written permission. Usually the police wouldn't bother to stop every car if you don't drive crazy when coming in and out of the place, and you should show courtesy to them, then you should be ok.

Jeez. I'd expect this happening to some sort of Honda car forum but to Lexus? Jeez. Maybe we should do what clubrsx does every year..have the entire meet inside a park rather than out in the open in a parking lot. I went to two end of summer meets at Craig Park in Fullerton and neither of them had trouble with cops. This was with 75-100 RSX's..

The meet was pretty good, we were all just minding our own business, chatting and meeting new peeps... Hopefully next year we can have it somewhere else where we won't get harrassed. Now let's see some pictures.

It was weird. Because, at first there was a one cop cruising through the lot and I didn't see him doing anything. Then, half hour later as I was taking pictures, the stupid ***** was next to me frantically calling the cops
