URGENT!!!

My best friend has to move out by March 1st, and the place she had planned to rent is now out of the market.

So, she has two weeks to find a place before she becomes homeless.

She's looking for a room to rent, or a roommate to share a place, in Orange County, for about $300-400 a month.

Can anyone provide any help?

My dad will be renting out the house we're currently living in...If your friend can hold out for a couple of weeks or so, I'll see what I can do since me and my dad are in the process of looking for a group of tenants (or a family) to move into our house...I may plan to stay at that house and live alongside 3 other roomates...The house is in Buena Park and rent will probably be around $1,800 + utilities (which will probably translate into about $550 per person) I'll keep you updated on this.

Unfortunately, people on Craigslist are either (a) sex addicts who want sex instead of rent money, (b) people that rent rooms to share along with their children or decrepit seniors, or (c) are legit, but too expensive.

how is (a) such a problem? isn't that kind of a benefit?

kidding of course lol, try checking college campus' in the area for roommate listings? not ideal, but best pricewise i would think.

You've just gotta be wary when you choose and be a good judgment of character when you meet up w/ the people. I've found 3 apts through craigslist and all success stories
