So Cal CL t-shirt designs, which one (or two) do you like the best?-cl-logo-1.jpg

Here's one that I just did a few minutes ago, sorry just in the first stage, let me know if you guys like it....

Once we all agree on a logo design, I will make the arrangements to have the shirts printed. Just remember to you guys designing shirts. One color, the better. The more color or intricate the design, the more it will cost. The idea here is to represent CL of Southern California elegantly. This is a shirt that both young and old will wear and it is a reflection of CL and of course our community.

As for a shirt design, I prefer a small logo on the chest either offset to the left or right, and the main logo on the back to identify...and if possible, have a logo on one of the sleeves.

using flipside909's criteria and emoshun's designs:

front: design #8, resized to half the original size, offset to either side
back: design #7, but with the star and "SO" in the same color
sleeve: design #8

so how about a mock-up?

maybe replace the flower next to the "CL" logo w/ the star (a la design #7)?

i'd go w/ CL SoCal (like CL Hawaii).

The back side I would suggest not to have it backwards/don't have it at all... If you want something like that, make a small logo at middle like the one you had before with your other design...

No offense but I really think we should stay away from any designs that look like current logos of urban apparel and skating companies....and definitely anything that looks like a "I love Honda" shirt. That's not really being creative or representative of our image. I know many of you out there are graphic designers and artists. This is your time to step up to the plate!

Please name the skating company/urban apparel in which their logo is being mimicked. The "I HEART" idea was just me sharing some designs and was in no way meant to be considered in this poll. I'm sorry you misunderstood that flip, everyone else seemed to get it.

I still want to provide T-Shirts for the masses, and weather or not 1 person doesn't like them will not sway my efforts to bring this shirt to everyone who wants one at a reasonable price.

I will see what I can do regarding staying away from the "urban look", but flip, in the end majority rules...
