Just to reinerate, will these tees to be distributed cost anything? Because i'm thinking if not, why would it really matter what logo you put on it? Ripping something off for a profit is one thing, but for non-profit club shouldn't anything go? I mean we're not asking companies to donate/contribute to anything (even though we spend top dollar for their products and they will recieve noteriety) cuz this is just a club, right? Yeh, i may not be well versed in the legal dept, but wtfc if ppl arnt sellin them? Now if you guys wanna sell'em thats different....imo..

Because Lexus does not want it to look like they sanction CL or have any part of it. So if someone were to sue CL per se, they cannot go after Lexus by association. We have an agreement with Lexus HQ and Toyota Legal about our organization, the logos and etc. prior to the IB acquisition. Because we have a long good standing reputation with Lexus HQ, we would like to maintain our good standing and not break the agreement we made with them. They recognize us as the premier Lexus enthusiast site.
