the guy with the accent...i think he owns the place. i brought him a bent volk racing wheel and he said, yeah let me check it out,...if i can't fix it then you don't have to pay.

then when i come to get it he says...yeah...i can't fix it, but you owe me 60 dollars. wtf? goes back and forth, finally i end up paying because i didn't get it in writing. i only got the fact that i dropped the wheel off in writing to be checked out/repaired. i took my wheel because i thought i should get a second opinion

i took the wheel afterwards to Wheels America in Norwalk, and the guys there laughed at his so called "repair" (which bascially looked like they took a hammer and banged it out) they checked the wheel out and told me the wheel was off centered and can't be fixed...didn't take a dime from me.

I have had a good experiences with Mag Masters. If you can drop it off and let them work on it for a few days, then your golden. The turn around time can take a while because they are extremely busy. They will do a great job on the curb rash, however I'm not sure how well they do on cracks.

My friend took his wheel to Wheel Repair Specialist and he didn't have any issues. They put the wheel on the balancing machine to see if they could fix it, once they confirmed it was repairable, the person gave my friend the price and time for pick up. The wheel was repaired next day.

When my friend picked up the wheel, he asked to see it on the balancing machine. They put it on the balancing machine and and it was repaired.

Seconded
I've taken many wheels there, my old Manaray Vertec VR5s to get curbage fixed, my sisters Maya's to get taken apart and repolished (damage from car wash using wrong cleaner) and my BBS RS-GTs for curb.
Only thing is you have to thave the tire taken off before you bring your wheel in and turn around is a few days. They've always done a great job and the price is fair.

Gonna have to pay them a visit soon to fix some curbage and I might have a bent lip

do you know if they paint?

My first time I went there after so many recommendations, and he was a ***** to me too. I didn't trust the guy. He pulled out a calculator for an estimate and it seemed he was pulling numbers out of his a$$. Anyhow, he wanted to charge me $125 for disassembling the wheel, $125 to repair the wheel, and $200 to chrome the lip. That's the highest estimate i've ever seen in my life.

He said my car was nice. He said it looked cool. That bastard, his new M5 was parked right next to mine. lol

So, i went another OK shop, charged me $200 to re-finish all 4 wheels.

Autocouture SC

What place did it for you?

I told my friend to go to WRS after you recommended them to me.

Very fast turn around time and he liked their work.

Thanks!

all my friends go to WRS, but I don't like his attitude. With the rims Im trying to sell now, Mag Masters was the cheapest to re-finish. Re-polish all wheels and fix any and all dents for $200? Can't beat that at all.
