Front Plate Ticket...Help
I did a search about this and came up with nothing.
My friend told me that the fix-it ticket for this is to actually drill holes for the plate. Right now I have it on with zip ties and 3m tape.
Do the cops actually check if its drilled on or as long as its on??
SoCal has some of the stupidest laws....

yea seems like socal cops are stepping up for some bs tickets cause government is running out of money lol...
I doubt they'll check if there's holes, as long they are there and pretty stable you should be fine, the other day i got tinted window and no plates as well (cause we just bought the car? we had the dealer temporary ones on) so dumb

Wow...I didn't know the cops are getting more **** about this front plate thing. Zip ties did the trick for me last time I got a front plate ticket, but that was years ago...

City and state are in financial trouble, and therefore law enforcement will be issuing chicken crap fix it tickets for no front plate tint loud exhaust etc. Yesterday I was on private property (super market) and saw city parking enforcement walking thru the parking lot issuing tickets for expired registration and no front plate. THIS SUX

I got a fix it ticket for the front plate about 2 months ago. I wound up just using zip ties, but when i got to the Sheriff's station, the Sheriff didnt even come out to look at it. To top it off he didn't even charge me the processing fee.

I Got my front plate ticket checked at the police department in the court itself. paid 15 bucks and all the lady did was open the door, look outside at my car that was parked faaaar away and say ok youre good.
