They don't mess around over there at Platinum. I'm interested in hearing any horror stories as well. I've had work done there and I must say it was a very pleasurable experience. He's done some very high quality builds and is a well known shop amongst the clublexus community.

Yea, what horror stories? Don't spread rumor if you don't put an example. I can say I hear horrible story about you as well. Do not tarnish the reputation of a shop when you don't have examples!!!

"I don't have any first hand experience with them, but I was at a meet and heard from am guy something about taking too long to get parts and getting the run around. I don't really know that guy so it might just be a bad customer with too high of expectations or something.. I think almost every shop has this kind of stuff happen once in a while?
Again, i don't have any first and experience with them. "
This is the reply from Fat Felix....

What kind of work do you want done? Parts? Installs? Custom? It really depends. One stop shops can be convienant but not always the best deal. For example, AF is offering 30-35% for JULY of all WEDS wheels and 1 month delivery. Yo for vip you should join vsc as well!

I have some experience with Platinum VIP. Kennedy is a "good" person but also a business man. Lets put it this way, if you ask for a estimate to fix a damaged car, 90 percent of it will be legit and 10 percent will be extra jacked up stuff to make them a bigger profit. With that being said, they are a good shop and the prices are reasonable.
I was actually going to get me 97+ bumper and qt panel covers painted by them but i ended up trading my stuff + cash for a used 99 bumper and qt panels. So i saved money on not needing a paint job and got the parts same day.
I would definitely recommend them as a shop but just make sure you know what you want/are talking about before walking in.

I actually stopped by the shop on Friday and met Kennedy for the first time and let me tell you, for a owner of the shop that actaully works and dont just sits behind a desk took about an hour and a half to talk to me and my bro about what can be done to my car, also to show some of there work in process. they get down over there, i havnt got work done from them yet but lets just say it will worth it. He showed us a Lexus that they are doing a all METAL widebody on.. coming out sik.. if you want any work done i say you go talk to him first so you dont waste time with other shops.
