following the directions would be your best bet.

that, and you can try and google the location.

i think you need to call them back to get the directions again.

and this time, CONFIRM the directions that they give you.

I live in Irvine and I've been pulled over 5 times for no front lisense plate and tint. Out of those 5 times i got ticketed twice. They haven't given me a hard time about being low or anyting else.

did they write the ticket off? or give you a new one?

if they didnt give you a new one, i'd say go to a different CHP station with the windows rolled DOWN this time.

and no, CHP generally won't accept zip ties, there are some hidden mounting solutions.

he was not willing to write off my ticket until i fix those problem, and my window was down too, he asked me to roll it up and see if there is a tint=_=....
so i took off the tint, sigh....and i just double side tape to amount the whole plate mounting, and finally i passed! thanks god= ="
however, when i went to the count, and they said it's too soon(3-4weeks already), the police havn't file it yet...i was like...wth...and i have to come back some other time after i waited so long in line and they said the ticket would be $75.....
but anyways, thanks for all who helped me!

Damn sounds like a nightmare....I just got a fix-it-ticket on wednesday for my tint being to dark...When you have dark tint a black car with black rims, well it draws way more attention...When it was stock (Tint was on the car when i bought it)cops never even gave me a seconds look now i get the straight slow motion roll by, eagle eye givin', whites of your eye see'n, stern face havn', whip around chasen' pulled over by the pig ticket givn' bastards! As i was stopped they made me roll all my windows down...Said "Hey we need to see in the back seat!"

Nick, it's simple...stop doing mods to your car that eliminate, bypass, or decrease safety devices. You want to be positively absolutely visible to other drivers. You start tinting lights and blacking out reflectors and it's like begging a cop to bother you or begging someone to rear end you because they didn't notice you were braking until it was too late.

Try zip ties for your front plate and make the ties look as inconspicuous as possible. Your car is black right? Get black zip ties.
