couple of quick questions; don't know if they've been asked yet:
1) When is the latest we can arrive?
2) When is the earliest we can leave?
Both are for the Lexus parking.

and in the event you DO blow your tires on a burn-out, you'll then be asked to limp back to your parking space, and possibly not allowed back on the drag strip. speedway staff don't play around...
now, wouldn't that be embarassing?

depending on the rating, your helmet may qualify. please check the NHRA rulebook for more information.
fyi, note that irwindale speedway staff will not allow airbag suspension-equipped vehicles to run on the 1/8-mile drag strip.
that's awesome, jerry. we're looking forward to your coverage. you'll definitely get a lot of good shots.

Remember one thing to all Pursuit attendees planning on using the
1/8 track.
Everyone will have to pass the Irwindale Speedway Tech Check !
If you don't pass you don't get to use the track.
Tech check will be done by Irwindale Speedway Staff !
Also, anyone that is using Air Suspension will not be allowed to use the track. That is Irwindale Speedway rule.
All racers and passengers are required to wear long pants, shoes and a shirt with sleeves. Racers competing with cars quicker than 8.59 (1/8 mile) are required to wear an approved helmet (See NHRA Rulebook). No passengers are allowed in vehicles faster than 8.59
