If you're registered you'll get a meal ticket for In-N-Out burger. There will also be concession vendors where you can buy food and refreshments.

check-in will be according to a list of those who registered, so unless you or the staff is able to change the registered name, then no.
however, you can encourage that "someone else" to sign up, since as of last night 50 additional spots have opened up.
