eh no offense but to me it looks kinda tacky I'd rather save the cash and get a cf hood or cf trunk

It's not for everyone, but it's also really one of those things you have to see in person to understand. Pictures can only do so much.

exactly, but if you like it rock it. Only question I have is how much did it run you and how much does the stuff weigh. Might look better to replace the faux wood inside my car than on my cars exterior

U can clear coat it as normal autobody paintwork (according to 3m). its sorta $$ though for the bare material

Actually, even if you got up close to it and touched/felt the material, you would still believe/think that it was real dry cf.

^ but since everyone now knows that there is this carbon fiber pattern overlay, and that there are no carbon fiber roofs for the lexus line-up, you're better off fooling the uninformed.

Here are the pictures of the 1 series I did. As you can tell from the pictures, I also did his mirrors and tinted his tail lights for him using some film. I may be doing an E60 this friday with the cf material as well, if any local members want to drop by and check it out.
