Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu Jitzu
Just wondering if anybody takes these classes here in Southern California.
I've been meaning to get into this to expand my cultural knowledge as well as physical capabilities.
I'm having a bit of a rough time finding one online.
Any takes?

Yeah, I do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
I go to Brazilian Top Team in Long Beach. Very friendly family-style dojo. I do it about two-three times a week.
There is a good balance between training and competing. In the past four months, we've had three major competitions (Worlds in CSLB, Nationals in CSDH, and South Bay in Redondo Beach).
Good thing is that the school is very inexpensive. $125 a month for BJJ, $150 if you do BJJ and MMA.

If you decide to go, tell me. We'll spar...

You might want to check out a Gracie barra school near you. I personally don't go to their schools but I have heard great things from jiujitsuforums.com. Remember most places allow you to try it out for a week for free. Make sure the place is clean and do your research on the instructors. Good luck with your search.

I go to Gracie Barra in Irvine. It's a great environment. The people and instructors are great. I am addicted.
