hi everyone,
like to introduce myself to the clublexus.com. I don't own a Lexus vehicle yet but in the market for one in the next 6 months. i've been a lurker just reading posts and looking at photos. i own a 2003 Toyota Tundra and belong to Tundrasolutions.com, and there is probably other members here that own a Tundra that belong on that forum. hopefully i can't get some more insight when the times comes.

Thank you for your warm welcomes
I like your Tundra DaveGS4, even though you set yours up for towing. I set my up for little desert and street queen since I drive it. I know I will get crap for that from the truck guys. I just don't want to break it and have no back up.
Right now, the truck is in the process of being sold. Currently I am set to leave for the Army in April 2010 for basic training and officer school in Ft. Benning, Georgia.

I really like the SC430 but since I've leaving So.Cal for now I don't see a purpose. On top of that I don't think the SC will suite me at this time.
I've been driving a mid size sedan, 1997 Mitsubishi Diamante so I'm leaning toward the Lexus GS. I like the refinement and comfort, but I wonder if it's too much since I'm usually driving by myself or one other person. I can kind of see where an ISx50 would come in.
I think it's too early to tell because I don't know where I will end up for a duty station so I guess I'll have to get a Lexus vehicle to adapt to my needs and region I am in. ie RWD drive car in East Coast winter. I just read horror stories through the forum about people having wrong types of vehicle and get in sticky situations. Even though usually it's because of drivers' error than the vehicle itself.

spongerwil, welcomce to cl and nice tundra. dont worry about having a street queen. i had an '07 tacoma(in my sig) that i mainly drove on the street.(hence the train horn) i took it out when i went to downhill races and what not. but nothing to bad. have fun when you get your new car. and definetly come out to one of the meets when they start back up.
