Who can repair the hvac system besides a dealer? EZ Lube removed my cabin filter while the car was in fresh air mode and now its damaged. stupid ****ers trying to upsell me on a cabin filter. They will be contacting me regarding repairs. I know for car accidents I am legally allowed to take my car anywhere...is that the same in this case? Then I will just take it to the dealer.

but gotta ask you this, why you even bother went to EZ lube from a first place ?? really ? you service your lexus in EZ lube ?? there are tons of reputable lexus/toyota automotive shop in SoCal, why EZ lube ??

You have to speak to the manager (or contact corp?) to see how they will handle it. Most places tell you to get the job done and give them the bill. Some will want an estimate and pay you that amount so you can get it done.

yes legally you can take your car to any shop and have the shop bill ezlube's insur directly.

they called me right away the next day and told me to drop it off at the dealer so i am impressed with the way they handle it. the part is on order and i will be dropping my car off tomorrow for repair. 1820 dollar repair at longo lexus.
