Cali tint is so so. on both my cars that i got tinted there, its got dust contamination.
(not to mention, they cut part of my rubber weather seal around the window)
And let me tell u silly enough, i got metallic on my IS350 at 45%/15%. (not bad)
I got the same percentage on my other car but semi-metallic,
and the 45% in the front looked like 50 or higher, almost looks like no tint.
Lesson learned, next time its Song's Tint Master, with 35% minimum
Don't mean to bash, Peters a cool guy and all, but the work his shop does is not the BEST you can find,
for an average tint job at an economical price, it can't be beat...

i got mine done at tint connection in costa mesa (it's off the 55)..they don't remove door panels/use heat guns..and the owner told me they do a lot of IS's..so they're used to the angle of the back windshield..also my friend told me that newport lexus tells people to go there..

I'm from Orange, I went down to terrific tint in Aliso/Mission Viejo. Good shop with quality work and people. I got front windshield 50%, 35% on the sides, ans 20% on the back window.

i've got a personal guy that will go to you and tint your car on the spot. He does it professionally at a shop (forget name) but does it on the side as well. Very stand up guy and has done maybe 15 of my friends car's already and all of mine and my family's. His work comes with a warranty as well and the tint he uses is no different from what you'd find at a shop (which is where he gets it ahaha).
PM if you're intereste and i'll get you his info.
