Song's Tint Masters

I got Ceramic on my front windshield & Madico Onyx on the rest of the windows. Awesome work!

I called Song's Tint Masters and he told me the price would be 500 without the front windshield and 700 with it. Is that the average price or can I get a better price?

That sounds about right, I believe the pricing was $475 / $700 when I had the H.O. 40 installed on my E.

In any case, Song's is a great shop. Take a look at the pics of cars they've worked on, lots of high end models. And Hahn is the man...very cool guy and skilled installer.

i think 60% is too light. even at 50% i don't think you will really "notice" the tint is there

haha...but I want to make it so that cops won't have any reason to pull me over...other than traffic violations...

I will see when I go there this Thursday to see the differences in the percentages...

I agree, Huper Optik 50 will be very light. I went with the 40 to avoid hassles from cops and have been happy with the results. Not too dark, but not too light.

I remember Hahn telling me that he's never had to remove H.O. 40 off a customer's car d/t a ticket...but has had to with some H.O. 30 customers.

when you are there, definitely ask hann to show you pictures and so about the 40-50-60% so you can decide. seriously, i have 40% and i never have issues with cops. with 50% that's sooo light

Example of "ghosting" when ceramic tint is improperly installed:

Supposedly there are two types of Huper. There are rolls that have 2 layers and rolls that have only 1 layer. The stuff I got put on had 2 layers and was extremly prone to ghosting. I guess that was the old stuff before Huper changed to a 1 layer. This is just what I was told, although that shop could have been telling me a bunch of bs. Formula1 supposedly only uses 1 layer, hence why I have not seen any type of ghosting on any car with it.
