Default HID Install-Challenged

This is a little pathetic. I can't for the life of me figure out why I can't get my XenonDepot Xtreme Kit to fire up on my IS. Anyone run into issues installing their HID kit or know of any common mistakes with hooking it up?

If anyone is around the Costa Mesa area and has installed this kit before and is willing to help, please let me know. I'd be happy to throw a few bucks at you.

thanks -- just low beams. i actually called tommy a few weeks ago but he quoted me $80 for the install. I thought that was a bit high considering its a PnP kit.

i have all my engine panels, intake, etc on the floor of my garage right now so i'd really like to be able to get this working without taking it somewhere.

When I installed my HID fogs, I had to cross the polarity. When it was hooked up "normal", I got nothing. As soon as I switched polarity, my HID fired right up.

The pic is chopped, but you get the idea.

lexus plugs are wired backwards, which on a normal halogen bulb isnt a problem, but will not allow a pole-sensitive ballast to work properly.

Try to switch/flip the wires around. There nothing else to it but +/- n finding where u want to mount it.

thanks for the help and responses guys. a friend came over to help and it ultimately was a case of having to reverse polarity. but, for some reason, we could not get the bulbs to fire up using the relay harness, no matter how many combinations of reversing polarity we tried. we ended up ditching the relay, reversing polarity on the ballast, and calling it a day. weird, but oh well...
