I'm pretty sure even if you don't get a confirmation you can still go. The meet is going to be held at the Venice Beach parking lot and they aren't going to be able to regulate who can come in and who can't. There will be tons of normal beach go-ers parking in that lot as well. Also for past meets it took about a week for me to get confirmation, so just hold out for a bit.

When it's an event that has admissions and registration fees, you'll get a confirmation. This is just a meet to get everybody together, no fees besides getting in the beach parking lot.... the registration is like what Vinh says, just so the guys at HF know whos going and who to look for. Don't worry confirmation isn't to die for, for this meet.
